Traffic cones are needed to divert cars and other vehicles on the road. They can line a lane that needs construction and keeps cars and buses from venturing over unsafe surfaces while, at the same time, keeping workers inside the area safe. Orange traffic cones are made from PVC and come in three sizes. If you need a large cone, a 36 in traffic cone is ideal, while smaller 28 and 18 inch sizes serve different purposes. But, regardless of what type or size of cone you need for roadwork, all in our store meet requirements set by the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).

When you need a set of cones for roadwork, choose from various shapes and sizes. Our store has small traffic cones, as well as wider and narrow sizes. Additionally, we have channelizer cones which, with the same orange color and reflective strips, are straight poles that act in much the same way. Our selection of both cones and poles for traffic can come in solid orange or with one to two reflective strips.

Orange is an important color for a set of traffic cones. Although the bright color compounds to the use of traffic cones and flares, two orange shades are available: standard and day glo. For the latter, these are made with concentrated fluorescent pigment and ultraviolet stabilizers to give the cone such a bright shade. The base of the cone, as well, can be designed with the same color or it can be solid black. Individual black bases are sold through our store for this purpose.

Another option in such road situations is to use a collapsible cone and a stand. The collapsible cone, colored the same way as an ordinary orange traffic cone, is supported by the metal stand. If you’re looking to take up less space in storage, using these collapsible cones and wire stands is one option.
