Some first aid kits are designed for marine or boating use. These specific boating/US Coast Guard kits comply with the USCG-code of Federal Regulations. Additionally, all of the materials are shrink-wrapped and auto-bagged for water resistance. Instead of a box, all materials come packaged in a clear zip lock bag.
For a larger crew on board, we make smaller first aid kits for ten people. Our general purpose first aid kit is unitized and comes with single use packages to prevent contamination. North Safety also makes a 10 Person Bulk First Aid kit, which is ideal for manufacturing settings, as it carries a variety of first aid supplies. The plastic box is also waterproof.
